About Us
The European Gambling Unions (TEGU) is the Amsterdam-based trade corporation representing the leading online gambling drivers provided, licensed, and regulated within the EU. In an immediately developing sector, TEGU is at the leading edge of promoting an aggressive and well-regulated online gambling market in Europe.
TEGU efforts collectively with national and EU dominations, counting with other collaborators, to promote an online gambling market that prioritizes customer protection and contains the realities of the internet and online customer demand. The union advocates for regulations which ensure that the regulated online gambling offer is good-looking to players and is impressive in directing them away from unregulated offers.
A primary objective of TEGU is attending a safe and continual online gambling sector in Europe. Our members observe distinct business standards and codes based on TEGU to support this objective, complementing the strict licensing rules they already satisfy within the European countries where they operate.
Our members meet the highest regulatory standards and collectively hold 267 online gambling licenses, each with its own compliance requirements. This allows them to serve 30.2 million customers across 22 different European countries. Together, they contribute to approximately one-third of Europe’s online gambling gross gaming revenue (GGR).
TEGU has been registered with the EU Transparency register since 2010, with the number 29508582168-56.
