Europe’s Gambling Market Revenue (2019-2027)

Europe’s gambling market revenue was preserved in 2022 and was collected €108,5bn before deductions from gaming revenue, an 8% rise in contrast to pre-pandemic levels in 2019 and a 23% rise compared to 2021. This growth was driven primarily by the reopening of land-based gambling venues following the general, with land-based gross gaming dividend increasing 34% to €70,3bn in 2022, accounting for 65% of total gambling revenue. Meantime, online gambling revenue increased by 8% to €38,2bn gross gaming revenue, or 35% of Europe’s total gambling revenue.

Online Gambling Shares Of National Gambling Markets (2021)

The important differences happen in the online shares of the unlike national gambling markets in Europe. In 2021, Sweden was the European country with the highest percentage 80% of its gambling movement taking place online, followed by Latvia 75%, Lithuania 67%, Romania 65% and the UK 65%. Particularly, many countries that have much larger gambling displays, by revenue, similarly Spain, Italy, Germany, and France, still had an approximately low online share of their various gambling markets.

Most Popular Online Gambling Products In Europe (2022)

In 2022, the casino was Europe’s most famous online gambling product by dividend, embracing €14,9bn gross gaming revenue and accounting for 39% of Europe’s online gambling revenue. Sports and other betting groups were close behind, breeding €13,6bn in gross gaming revenue and accounting for 35% of Europe’s overall online gambling revenue. Similarly, TEGU members achieve the biggest share 46% of their online revenues from sports betting.
